Developer guide
Aztec-Calcs gives you three ways to put calculators in front of your users. All three use the same calculation engine, so the same inputs give the same results.
| Option | Use it when |
|---|---|
| Hosted pages | You want a link to a calculator that we run and brand for you |
| Embed | You want a calculator inside your own web page |
| REST API and MCP | You build your own screens or tools and want the results as data |

Calculation API reference
The reference lists every operation, its parameters and its responses. We generate it from the API's OpenAPI document, so it always matches the API.
- Calculate runs a calculator with your inputs.
- Get calculator schema lists the inputs a calculator accepts.
Authentication
Every API operation needs a secret API key sent as a bearer token in the Authorization header. Use keys on your servers only. Never put a key in a browser or a mobile app, and never commit one to source control.
