Hosted calculator pages

Hosted pages are calculator pages that Aztec-Calcs runs for you under your branding. You link to a page and need no code on your own site.

Before you start

  • Your public key (pk_...) and the hosted site address. The Go live page in the portal shows both and builds the links.
  • A calculator group on your cobrand for each calculator you link to.

You don't need to add anything to your allowed domains. The hosted site is a platform domain, so it's always allowed.

Minimal example

A hosted calculator page has this address:

https://<your hosted host>/c/<your public key>/auto-loan-payment

Replace the host and the key, then open the address in a browser. The last segment is the calculator key. Link to it from your own pages:

<a href="https://<your hosted host>/c/<your public key>/auto-loan-payment">Auto loan calculator</a>

The page shows your branding, your call-to-action buttons, a language switcher and the disclaimer. The footer says Powered by Aztec Calcs.

The pages ask search engines not to index them, and they set security headers.

Errors and limits

A hosted page shows a plain page when it can't show the calculator. These pages have no branding.

The hosted site is a static site that can't send a 404 or 503 status. It shows these pages with a 200 status. Don't use the status code to check that a link works. Open the page, or call the embed endpoints.
